Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question for our team? Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our patients ask us every day. If you still have a question after reading through everything, please be sure to call us and ask! We’re always happy to take extra time to make sure you completely understand your dental care.

How often should I visit the dentist?

According to our own doctors as well as the American Dental Association, patients of all ages should visit their dentist at least twice a year in order to keep their teeth healthy and avoid common dental problems like tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.

Why do I need to see the dentist even though I brush my teeth?

Because your brush and floss simply can’t clean every part of your teeth. Plaque can gather in these trouble spots and eventually develop into cavities, but our dental cleanings are specially designed to reach them. Plus, coming to see us routinely will give your dentist a chance to catch and treat any dental problems you might have early.

How will you fix my broken/decayed tooth?

If your tooth is only slightly damaged, we can probably quickly repair it using a tooth-colored filling. If it needs to be rebuilt a little more, however, we can fully restore it using an all-porcelain dental crown specially designed to match your other teeth.

Can you replace my missing teeth?

We certainly can! While we have a multitude of treatments that can accomplish this, dental implants are by far the best solution. Unlike every other tooth replacement, they rebuild the entire tooth from root to crown, enabling them to provide the most long-lasting, natural-looking, and durable solution possible.

I have a severe toothache. Can you help?

Yes, we can. In the most extreme cases, a severe toothache can be easily taken care of using a root canal. Despite its reputation, it’s actually one of the best tools we have for relieving pain and saving extremely damaged teeth that would normally need to be removed.

Can you remove my wisdom teeth?

Unlike many other local dental practices, yes, we can perform complete wisdom tooth extractions as well.

Will you accept my dental insurance?

We are in-network with all PPO dental insurance plans and accept policies from a wide variety of providers. To learn how we can use your particular plan to help you save on your dental care, please call us today.
