Dr. Afshin Azmoodeh

Dr. Afshin Azmoodeh has been helping patients near Richardson take care of their smiles for nearly 20 years. After all this time, “Dr. A” still loves seeing his patients’ excited expressions after a successful treatment. Quality dentistry can improve people’s health, appearance, and confidence, and Dr. A gets to witness this each and every day! He’s truly thankful to have such a wonderful dental team supporting his efforts and is constantly inspired to do better and better.

In addition to decades of real-world experience, Dr. A has also completed several advanced training courses for various specialized treatments. A few examples include dental implant placement and restoration, dental sleep solutions, and Chao Pinhole gum surgery. He might have earned his dental degree from the Texas A&M College of Dentistry years ago, but Dr. A firmly believes in the importance of continuing education.

Outside of the office, Dr. A likes to spend time with his wife and two children. He also loves cinema and is very interested in computers and history, so if you want to get Dr. A talking, just ask him about one of these topics!

Dr. Nidhi Sharma

Dr. Nidhi Sharma has over ten years of experience in dentistry. Having once received comprehensive orthodontic treatment herself, she loves how transformative her work can be, and is proud she can help patients restore their oral health and smile aesthetics. Dr. Sharma is especially passionate about educating teens and young adults about the best way to prevent cavities.

Though she was born in Dusseldorf, Germany, Dr. Sharma completed her schooling in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, earned her Bachelors in Dental Surgery from SDM College of Dental Sciences in India, and received her DDS (with Honors in Orofacial Medicine) from the NYU College of Dentistry. This multicultural educational experience has given her a broad perspective and fostered an accepting nature. Dr. Sharma considers herself blessed to have lived in so many different places!

Outside of the office, Dr. Sharma enjoys spending time with her husband, their twin boys, and their dog, Luke.

Dr. Michael Ahn

Dr. Michael Ahn has been providing patients with personalized, quality dental care for well over 20 years now. He’s always loved treating others and working with them closely to restore their health, but also has an artistic side and likes working with his hands. Dr. Ahn sees dentistry as the perfect blend between patient care and artistry. He started his career in order to help his community and still loves every minute of what he does!

Since graduating from the Pacific Union College in California and Loma Linda University, Dr. Ahn has placed over 10,000 dental implants, served as an adjunct professor at the University of Southern California, and has been a notable speaker at several academic institutions and podiums. His expertise is well-recognized, and we couldn’t be happier to have him on the team!

When he’s not helping patients near Richardson improve their oral health or smile aesthetics, Dr. Ahn enjoys spending time with his wife and their two children. He also likes playing golf, strumming the guitar, and trying out new restaurants with his wife.

Visiting us every six months for a routine checkup and cleaning allows us to monitor your dental condition so we can catch and treat any areas of concern before they can progress. We’ll also take X-rays at least once annually to ensure no problems have developed beneath the surface of your teeth and gums.

We also scan the soft tissues of your mouth for any signs of oral cancer to prevent this potentially fatal condition.
